This trend has been around for some time. The chevron print was first introduced with military uniforms and later showing up in clothing apparel from the 1970's. With its zig-zag patterns and fun colors, this type of trend really is one of a kind. I believe that the right chevron pattern can be paired with cardigans, blazers, tights and/or simple accessories. A fashion forward lady can really make a statement with this print without being too flashy.
Here are some photos of how I coordinated the Chevron style. I took this zig-zag dress and just played around with the colors that personally stood out to me. I focused on purple, mustard, and brown colors that really complement instead of compete with the pattern. I accessorized with a simple bib necklace and a purple head wrap that adds to the look.
What are your thoughts about the chevron pattern?
